Tena koutou katoa It has been a great start to the term and so pleasing to see the student come back to the final term of the year focussed on continuing the success of the last 3 terms. We have been very pleased to have been able to host the Education Review Office team during the first week of term. I was very proud to be able to welcome the ERO team with a haka powhiri in our new whare. The ERO process continues over the next month before the final report will be published. We have been pleased that we have been able to have discussions with the ERO team about the great number of positive things that are happening in the College along with the variety of systems and structures that we continue to develop to build upon our success in future years. We have been very proud of the improvement in the College over the last few years and are very focused on building on that work in the coming years. I have spoken to the students at assembly about the need to keep pushing themselves towards reaching for their full potential. For senior students external examinations are so important particularly for courses in the following year and future career and educational pathways. I have been pleased with the number of students accessing revision opportunities with the staff in the College. I thank the staff of the college for providing these opportunities for students and encourage as many students as possible to make the most of these opportunities prior to their final examinations. I would ask that we support the endeavour of the PTA and their annual fundraising efforts with truffles. The PTA have done a fantastic job raising money for the benefit of students of the College over the last couple of years. I would encourage all students to get out and sell as many orders as possible and ask that as many students and parents as possible assist in the making of truffles. God Bless Jarlath Kelly
